Customer Reviews
I am currently riding a Cuneo GP White edition frame and forkset. I have moved up to this frame after riding an 11kg alloy bike for 18mths. Talk about a world of difference!!! The frame just GLIDES under me. It's a fantastic looking frame, and I get lots of comments on how good the bike looks. The white with silver and black decals looks great with whatever bar tape and kit you want- no need to worry about your favourite kit clashing with your bike!! And everyone is always amazed at how light it is. The overall package is just fantastic. I run it with a Microshift White groupset in... white! This was teamed with a Pro-Lite Pedrosa stem, a Pro-Lite seat post, HSC Bottom Bracket, Ultegra cranks, chain, cassette and brakes. I finished it off with a Bracciano Wheelset. I would recommend this frame to ANYONE who wants a quality frame, at a great price, that looks A-MAY-ZING!!!! If you need even more proof of just how good a quality this frame is, with better dampening qualities then the 'all-hallowed' carbon frames, here it is- I recently rode this bike on a 800km Charity ride across Far North Qld, from Cairns across to Karumba. I am talking some SERIOUSLY crap roads. Rough bitumen, holes, gravel, you name it, we rode on it. On one particular day, we had the option to mountain climb or detour via a 20km dirt track. I took the track option (naturally!!). I kid you not, this frame was da bomb!!! We rode over ripples, rutts, rocks, holes, soft sand, compacted dirt with rocks sticking out and those god aweful one inch apart rutts that go on and on and on and on..... I've ridden roads like this before, on my old bike. It is NOT pretty.......... I rode side by side with a friend, who was on a $9,000 Specialized S-Works. I had a smoother ride. She was jarring and chattering all over the place. I just got in a comfy position, held the bars lightly and my Cuneo GP glided over it all. The vibration dampening was phenomonal!! I never once had to shake my hands, never once cursed my aluminium frame. I had a few people come over to me afterwards and comment on how well the bike handled the terrain- even the sneaky rocky creek bed that snuck up on us around a corner!! And to go to the other spectrum, I know a group of guys who race this frame at Elite level. This bike is TRUELY versatile. From weekend warrior who is 100kg+ and basically cyclocrossed the bike, to Elite level QLD rep road racers, this bike will do you for it all. Do yourself a favour, get one. NOW. And the price? Well, you can't argue with that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have one as a race bike, and one as a training bike! Heck, buy one for your Missus and the junior too!!!Charleigh Simons (Aug 19 2013, 16:15 pm)
